If my memory serves me right, I watched it with my family and with few friendly neighborhood peers in the legendary Sucat Cinema.. AMERICAN but FILIPINO by heart...

Pablo Casal once wrote... "The love of one's country is a splendid thing. But why should love stop at the border?"...

Ive been a fan of this musician for a long time, a true OPM (Original Pinoy Music) lover, he sings OPM songs like no other... He's not a Filipino... got no Filipino blood but he eats Balut... An American with a Filipino heart...

He's been taking a lot of views in youtube because of his extraordinary renditions of Filipino songs, from Rivermaya to Bamboo, Itchyworms to the phenomenal Eraserheads... He calls his music JoePM: Its OPM with an American twist... Thank you Chris for loving our own music... So dun sa mga di nkaka appreciate sa OPM, puro international music at kinahihiya nyo sariling tunog natin... mas mahiya kayo! mabuti pa ibang nationality marunong mag-appreciate!

Chris singing "NOYPI" popularized by BAMBOO...

Who do you want to save you??

I heard a familiar tune earlier from our neighbor's house, a song I havent heard for a very long time. It became a household song for like a coon's age... The very catchy song, the song once labeled as the "Pambansang Anthem" of its time... ang awiting "NARDA" by kamikaze... When I got home, the promo on the TV answered it all... its back coz the show is also back... The way it looks, mukhang bago ang storyline nito. May bago rin actress to play the role... Of course we all knew that Angel Locsin made a great mark on taking the role... But now its Marianne Rivera's turn... So guys, who do you want to save you?

seems like the poll here doesnt work properly might as well take the poll here... http://www.proprofs.com/polls/poll/?title=who-fits-more-for-the-role-of-darna
a lot of thanks ... =p

"Salamat, Cory"

Its a very sad day today in the Philippines. President Corazon C. Aquino passed away this morning at exactly 3:18am because of cardio-respiratory arrest. She fought a brave battle against colon cancer for more than a year. She was 76. Tita Cory is a symbol of democracy not only here in the Philippines but also all over the world. I saw the newsreport earlier on CBS with Katie Couric... she was truly loved by all. Our condolences and sympathies to the family of the late former President. She will always be remembered. She will always remain as an inspiration. Thank you for bringing back democracy to this country... a lot of thanks.

Public viewing for Mrs. Aquino's remains will be begin at 5 p.m. Saturday and end on Monday morning. Public viewing will be closed from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. for maintenance work, family spokesperson Siytangco had earlier announced.
