Its a very sad day today in the Philippines. President Corazon C. Aquino passed away this morning at exactly 3:18am because of cardio-respiratory arrest. She fought a brave battle against colon cancer for more than a year. She was 76. Tita Cory is a symbol of democracy not only here in the Philippines but also all over the world. I saw the newsreport earlier on CBS with Katie Couric... she was truly loved by all. Our condolences and sympathies to the family of the late former President. She will always be remembered. She will always remain as an inspiration. Thank you for bringing back democracy to this country... a lot of thanks.
Public viewing for Mrs. Aquino's remains will be begin at 5 p.m. Saturday and end on Monday morning. Public viewing will be closed from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. for maintenance work, family spokesperson Siytangco had earlier announced.

May God bless Cory and all her family and country. She was a lovely and elegant lady, full of hope and power and there will not be another like for a long, long time. She was truly a Great Lady.
Glad you recognized her.
