Wow, I got a visitor from Droitwich, Worcestershire... di ba ang hirap i-pronounce =p

Dito kaya nag-originate ang "Worcestershire sauce" na madalas nating naririnig sa cooking show, na minsan toyo-patis combo nalang ang alternative pag wala ka nito... nako male-late na naman ako.. 3rd day! konti nalang miming na.. =)

Year 2010 is about to end, 2 hours nalang... All I can say about the closing year .. SALAMAT! Its been a fruitful year! I want to thank God for all the blessings.. umpisa palang ng year I met a lot of friends na talagang namimiss ko na.A lot of things happened, may masaya, may malungkot, celebration, loss of a loved one, halo-halo na. I do admit that I was a bit depressed by the start of the year, pero unti-unting nagkaroon ng direction, nagkaroon ako ng work, dumami kaibigan ko, nagkaroon ako ng maraming inspiration, dami kong kalokohan. To my parents, kung mabasa nyo man ito haha.. dami kong 1st time na nagawa.. umiinom na ako ngayon, pa tanduay-tanduay ice lang tapos nag-upgrade nang nag-upgrade, eligible naman siguro, tas lately, nag-try ako mag yosi, di ko nagustuhan... nakakasuka. haha.I AM HAPPY. Though music was not my priority this year and honestly kahit isang kanta wala yata ako natapos! napuno naman ng melody ang buhay, dahil sa mga tao sa paligid. oooops teka humimig pala kami bilang isang choral sa trabaho..mahusay! humabol parin pala sa dulo ang musika.(gumawa rin pala ang ng composition, kaisa-isa di pa natapos =)

Eighty-two blogposts, no, make it 83 kasama 'to... not bad di ba? Kahit ganito 'tong blog ko na hindi naman talaga seryoso,and most of the time meaningless nyahahahaha, naging palipas oras narin siya for me. Im a very huge fan of the Beatles, I have song compilations, cassette tapes and DVDs at home. But there's one song that I really like for a very long time, "Michelle" is a simple piece of music, yet its the melody and lyrics made it so beautiful.

Yeah, its all over the production floor for the past week!... lagi nalang nilang kinakanta, sana wag ka maasar hehe. Its been a pleasure singing to you this song that night... you know how difficult it is for me to express it, well, the song says it all.

Songfacts:

John Lennon invited McCartney over to college parties when he was still in high school, and French culture was a trend. Paul would try to fit in by sitting in a corner and pretending to be French. He would play little tunes in French, but he only knew a few French words so he would groan or make words up. John told him that he should make it into a real song for Rubber Soul, so he asked his friend Ivan Vaughan, whose wife was a French teacher, for a French name and some words to rhyme with it. Vaughan came up with "Michelle, ma belle." McCartney came up with the next line, "These are words that go together well," and Vaughan taught him the French translation, "Sont des mots qui vont tres bien ensemble," which he used in the song as well. When he played it for Lennon, John suggested the "I love you" part in the middle. This is not based on any particular woman. They chose the name because it sounded good.

Singer-songwriter Michelle Branch was named after this song.

The French verse is often misheard as "Sunday monkey won't play piano song."

When Paul McCartney received the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song award at a White House ceremony in 2010, he did something he later said he'd been itching to do for a while: sing "Michelle" to the First Lady. President Obama credited McCartney with helping "to lay the soundtrack for an entire generation."

"Fruitcake"

The moment I heard Jose Mari Chan's voice over the radio sometime early this month, alam ko na na magpapasko na talaga... Naalala ko tuloy yung isang kwento...

It was one night, she asked a favor to accompany her sa trinoma para bumili ng exchange gifts niya para sa friends niya, meron daw kasi yung group nila na katuwaan, exhange gift nga. Ang usapan, 7/11 morayta, malapit sa St. francis,.As usual late na naman ako, hindi na nagbago, matinding paliwanagan ang nangyari, hanggang sa pagsakay ng jeep. Umpisa palang ng araw sablay na! Pagdating ng SM north nagbago ang mood.. hehe ayus na ulit.. we went to every shop to find this kind of earring.. wala, nagpunta kami ng trinoma..wala... nagutom lang kami. Sabi ko, why not something na hindi makakalimutan ng nabunot mo. ayun panty. haha. Pauwi na kami at hindi lang pala yun ang pakay niya dun.. dumaan kami sa isang bakeshop at bumili ng cake. Pinili niya yung malaking cake at ginto ang price. sabi ko, bakit yan? ang yaman mo naman. tatlo lang naman kayo sa group nyo na kakain. sabi nya, ok lang yan para special. pero sumunod parin siya sa mas napili kong simple lang at di kalakihan ang size. Nasa fx na kami pabalik ng school, ingat na ingat akong hindi matabig ng malaking babaeng katabi ko.. nakatingin ako sa kasama ko at napapatawa siya, hindi ko naman alam kung bakit. masama bang alagaan yun cake? pangit na kaya pag sabog-sabog na yun. naghiwalay kami sa sakayan ng jeep, pupunta na daw siya sa bahay ng friend nya dun kasi mangyayari ung mini party nila, nakalimutan ko na nasaakin pa pala yung cake, good thing di pa umaalis yung jeepney, naihabol ko pa sa kanya.. sabi ko "muntik nang maiwan sakin, sayang kakainin ko yan, kita nalang tayo mamaya sa school" tumawa lang siya. tumuloy na ako sa eskwela. Kinagabihan, christmas party na yun, at dahil magkaiba kami ng section, sa taas sila ngpaparty. habang nagpaparty kami ng section namin sa baba, tapos may nagsabi na may naghahanap daw sakin sa labas. Paglabas ko mga taga ibang section, binulungan ako, pag tingin ko sa hagdan nandun cya, hawak ang cake na binili namin. napangiti ako, di ko alam kung anong nararamdaman ko. pinuntahan ko at binigay niya sakin yung cake, bigla siyang tumakbo sa room, nahiya haha.. akalain mu para sakin pala yun? gusto nya pala ako bigyan ng cake!nagpasama pa sakin. kaya pala sinadya niya maiwan sakin yun nung nasa jeep na siya. natuwa naman ako. kinabukasan, hinatid ko na siya sa province nila. At yon ang isa sa mga masasayang Christmas season ng buhay ko...
