A writer once wrote, "Choose your friends by their character, and choose your socks by their color. Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense, and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable."

The 720 Dunk! Air up there . . .
I know this was years ago but for the benefit of the others who havent seen it, this is your chance! the second revolution.. 720 dunk!!!
Who is the guy? He is Taurian J. Fontenette , also known as "Air Up There" and "Mr. 720", is a streetball player from Hitchcock, Texas. He is a former player on the AND1 Mixtape and Ball4Real Tours. He's also well-known for his signature dunk, the axle-rider (a.k.a. the 360-degree between-the-legs), which he says he did before everyone else back in his high school days. Fontenette is considered by some to be one of the best dunkers ever due to his sole ability to do a 720 degree dunk and the ease with which he can perform his axel-rider dunk (such as in games and on breakaways).

One-eyed Monster; Venus planetary occultation (May 16, 2010)

If you're looking at the nightsky last Sunday, May 16,2010... you probably saw an amazing sight over the horizon. The planet Venus is visible on top of the Moon over the country. The rare occurrence is called the Venus planetary occultation by the thin crescent Moon.
Venus is gradually getting nearer to the Earth. This week it will be 1.4 astronomical units distant, which is the average distance between the Earth and the Sun (about 93 million miles). (anu daw ulit?hehe)

Japan is finally safe from GODZILLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you know that last year, in celebration of Gundam's 30th anniversary, a 1/1 life-size scale model of the famous RX-78 Gundam was completed right in the city of Tokyo? There were rumors that the project was a front for a hidden main agenda; Japan's new defense force against agitated North Korea's recent aggressive activity. But I doubt it... anyway if its true, COOL!

This is an amazing 60 foot statue of Gundam in Odaiba. The thing's head moves too! His jet pack blows steam, he lights up and his head moves from side to side.
